Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets Playoff Bound

The Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets are headed to the playoffs.  Both teams have fought hard to get there and now we’ll see how far they can go. The Avalanche get the San Jose Sharks in the first round and although they will be underdogs, Captain Adam Foote and the rest of the Avalanche are optimistic about their chances. This should be an exciting series.

The Denver Nuggets are likely to enter the playoffs without Coach George Karl as he recovers from throat and neck cancer treatments. There is nothing Coach Karl would like more than to return to his team for the playoffs but that is up in the air at this point. This is the seventh consecutive year the Nuggets have made it to the playoffs and they are hoping that Chauncy Billups and Carmello Anthony can step up and get them past the first round and into the finals.
