Kenny Chesney 2013 Tour with Eric Church and Eli Young Band

by AllianceTickets on November 19th, 2012

Kenny Chesney recently won the CMA for Musical Event of the Year for his performance of “Feel Like a Rock Star” with Tim McGraw. While, yes the performance was indeed awesome, it feels as if the musical event of the year should go to a tour rather than a single song. Of course, then Chesney would likely be an undefeated champion of the honor given the extreme popularity of his summer engagements.

His 2013 engagement is already earning some buzz, given the fact it is scheduled in support of Welcome to the Fishbowl. The 13th album from the country star, the Fishbowl already reached number one status and gold certification and the single “Feel Like a Rock Star” just won a CMA. The single “Come Over” has proven even more popular reaching platinum to Rock Star’s gold.

As with all his summer concert series, this one has a name. It is to be called the No Shoes Nation Tour and it will include recent CMA Album of the Year winner Eric Church and the Zach Brown as supporting acts, with each playing different parts of the five-month schedule. In addition, Kenny Chesney tickets will be a chance to see the Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves as the opening acts. The Eli Young Band is going to be tour to continue to support the album Life at Best and Musgraves has yet to release a new album but is known for a song on the hit ABC program Nashville. That is correct; the 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour has four levels of performances.

So far 17 stadium dates have been announced with early show dates staring March 16, 2013 in Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium. The tour is going to be continuing into August. Obviously not all the dates have been announced, so expect more show dates to be announced soon.
