They started off with Glyn Johns, but after finishing two songs, they enlisted the help of Bill Szymczyk to produce the remainder of the album. He brought in Felder to play slide guitar on the song “Good Day In Hell”, and the group was so amazed by his abilities that they signed him up to be the fifth Eagle.

By the time their third album (One Of These Nights) was done, tensions between members were becoming more apparent. Egos were clashing and members were butting heads over many issues having to do with the sound of their music and where the band was heading.

It was during this time that Leadon announced he was leaving the group by pouring beer over the head of Frey while performing live at a concert. He was quickly replaced with new member Joe Walsh.

From that point on, there were many obstacles the group faced. Much of the drama is what helped to make them as famous as they are, but eventually the band broke up. After taking a “14-year vacation” they got back together. They’re now older, wiser, and making incredible music for the world to enjoy once again. The Colorado Rockies are off to one of their best starts in franchise history.
